Aroma Joe’s RUSH

BRANDING | PRODUCT DESIGN | USER INTERFACE DESIGN

Following their large-scale brand update, Aroma Joe’s wanted to refresh the branding for their own line of energy drinks and create tools to help promote their happy hour schedule. As this is a subsidiary product of a nationwide franchise, it was important to incorporate the parent company’s updated branding and iconography into the new design, while establishing the product’s own brand identity.

I was in charge of the visual design for three components of this project: the brand update, product design update, and website user interface update. Due to the positive response of the new “stoosh,” I designed the new drink cans with the new icon as the focal point, while still integrating significant features of the original design, such as the rocket and dates. The stoosh doubling as a rocket trail was also meant to further emphasize the “RUSH” aspect of the brand.

In collaboration with the agency director, I ensured all new brand assets could transition seamlessly across the various forms of product, while maintaining the integrity of the parent company’s branding. Once the new identity was established, I built the visual interface for an accompanying splash page, which would mainly be used by customers to keep track of when the next “Rush Hour,” or happy hour would be.
